The grapes for Nimbus Chardonnay are grown in the Santa Isabel Estate, the most westerly vineyard in the Casablanca Valley, one of the most renowned Chilean cool climate wine regions. It is located 80km from Santiago and 20km east of the Pacific. Mild temperatures during the growing season and the constant presence of morning fogs allow slow ripening and excellent fruit concentration. As with all the Nimbus wines, grapes are hand-harvested with rigorous selection in vineyard and winery, with the best clusters chosen first and then the best individual grapes.

The wine is pale clear gold in colour with floral hay notes on the nose. The body is firm but not overwhelming with strong notes of lemon curd and toast and a finish that is both sweet and spicy. Try with salmon or garlic shrimp.
